For a right angle triangle,

Hypotenuse² = base² + height²
Hypotenuse = 27 cm
One leg (x) = 13 cm(could be either base or height)
Let other leg be y

Hypotenuse² = x² + y²

27² = 13² + y²
y² = 27² - 13² = 729 - 169 = 560 = 23.66cm

Area of triangle = 1/2 bh = 1/2 x 13 x 23.66 = 153.79 cm²
