Let, the Mary has money = 7x
& Jane has = 5x

It is given that, 7x + 5x = 60
12x = 60
x = 60/12
x = 5

So,7(5) = 35 & 5(5) = 25

In short, Mary has $35 & Jane has $25

Hope this helps!
