Why did the british think they would win the war of independence.

Will they had the number, they thought they were better and had more strategic people on their side,  both are true. It is like the Vietnam war, where the American thought the would win because they had better weapons and the numbers, but lost because the soldier of Vietnam where better at their enlivenment than the American the same goes with you question. don't forget to like.
