thats easy. you need to isolate the variable and use the addition property of equality. to isolate n add 2.6 to both sides.

7.4 + 2.6= n-2.6+2.6
7.4 plus 2.6 equals 10
therefore, 10=n
to check substitute ten into n. 7.4=10-2.6
 10=n

When we add 7.2 with 2.6 it’s 10
So n=10
